Remedial Massage is a therapeutic massage incorporating a consultation and treatment. The practitioner will usually incorporate deep tissue, trigger point and other techniques to stimulate the muscle and fascia tissue. All our remedial massage therapists are treatment-focused, although more time will be allocated for musculo-skeletal assessment and obtaining the case history in the initial consultation.
We recommend new patients start with a one hour session, and then continue with hour or half hour treatments depending on practitioners assessment of your individual case. Practitioners can work on specific areas at the patients request, or apply a full-body treatment. All services at Metro Health are non-sexual.
