All Acupuncture consultations include:
- Individualized Chinese-medical pulse diagnosis.
- Consultation time to discuss your main health concern, and relevant symptoms.
- Explanation of your diagnosis, treatment plan and treatment options presented at initial consultation and often at subsequent consultations where relevant.
- Acupuncture treatment (and the associated acupuncture treatments as needed – moxibustion, cupping etc)There is no extra charge for moxa, cupping etc if these treatments are used.
- The formulation of your individualised Chinese herbal formula if needed/requested and
- relevant, personal diet advice for your constitution/Chinese medicine diagnosis including take-home handouts where relevant.
Chinese Herbal Medicine (2 weeks formula) $90
Sometimes, a one week of herbs or a varied herbal formula may prescribed to you at a pro-rata cost.
Chinese Herbal Medicine-only Consults
Just need herbs and no acupuncture? No worries, for patients who only want herbal medicine (no acupuncture), or who have been referred by their regular acupuncturist for individualised Classical herbal treatment, Marie offers herbal medicine consultations. Please allow 30 minutes. This includes Chinese medicine pulse diagnosis, and a chat about your situation, your health concerns and symptoms to make the right Chinese medicine diagnosis and prescribe the relevant formula. In most cases the herbs will be made up at the time of the appointment.
Herbal Medicine Initial $110 (allow one hour)
Herbal Medicine Subsequent $70 (30 minute appointment)
HEALTH FUND REBATES are available for Acupuncture treatments. A written receipt will be provided, which you can take to your health fund, many health funds do in-app claiming and you can get your rebate back quickly.
